Costumer Reviews

This printer came with the apple computer I bought. It worked fine except for the wireless part of it. A call to HP support and with some help from a very nice tech by the name of Leah, the problem was resolved. When I hooked the printer up myself per the instructions with my AirPort Extreme (my router) , the computer did not recognize it. I had the USB cable going from the printer to the router.I thought that since my computer was working fine with the router that it only made since to hook the printer up to the router until the printer was working wirelessly. WRONG. Leah, the tech from HP said that the USB cable must go directly from the printer to the computer. That resolved the problem. I then removed the USB cable and can now print wirelessly. I spent several days trying to figure this out. I hope that this will help someone else with the same printer problem.

I would avoid this printer if you'd like to use the wireless printing feature. The wireless printing does not work -- the printer has trouble acquiring an IP address after turning on, and you would have to re-configure the printer. It's not worth your time to make it work, and it won't. This printer has a poor rating on apple store, but is now taken off the line.. thank goodness.
