I have been using my new cartridge a month, so I can't say for sure it will last 5,000 prints, but the quality immediately improved over my higher priced Dell-made cartridge that was "33% usage left" or so it said.

Not much to say about a toner cartridge, but it worked perfectly in my Dell 1815dn printer, and the price was great.
