I read through many of the other reviews and couldn't decide the product has any iPhone 4 issues. The buds work great and the sound quality is much better than the original Apple headset. The mic quality is good. The only issue I have is that the mic / phone controls do not have a volume adjustment. You can use the mic / phone button to pause, advance, and back up while using the iPod functions. 1 click pause, 2 clicks skip to next song, and 3 clicks to got to start of song. Still the best cost to value product I could find.

I loved these headphones because they (1) didn't hurt my ears the way other headphones can (2) provided decent sound isolation but didn't drown out all sounds so they felt safe to use while running outdoors (3) allowed me to have clear conversations with people without having to hold my phone up to my ear, and (4) sound quality was decent. But unfortunately they stop working within months! The problems that came up: (1) The soft earbuds pop off and get lost (but you can easily replace them) (2) After some time, sound would only come out of one ear.
I've bought these exact headphones twice because I thought maybe I was too rough on my first set. But I had the same problems with both sets within the same time frame. Too bad -- I did like them while they lasted. I just don't think I can keep purchasing them every couple of months.
